Ibrahim Sagna has over twelve years' experience managing private investments and entrepreneurial ventures in Africa.
Ibrahim served as Director in charge of Africa Opportunities for Millennium Global Investments, a USD 13billion London based fund sponsored by Lord Rothschild and Sir Ronald Cohen.  Prior to joining Millennium in 2008, Ibrahim served from 2004 to 2007 as Managing Director for EMEA investments at TRG Holdings, a private equity portfolio company sponsored by EMP Global, AIG and other leading financial institutions. During his time at TRG, Ibrahim was the chairman of the firm subsidiary in Africa and was in charge of investments and operations in the region . Before his engagement with TRG, Ibrahim worked from 1999 to 2004 at EMP Global, a USD 6billion private equity firm. While at EMP, Ibrahim served as an Investment Officer and was a member of the team which helped launch and manage the USD407million AIG African Infrastructure Fund chaired by H.E. Nelson Mandela.
Prior to his Private Equity and Fund investments career, Ibrahim gained valuable experience in Africa with the West African Central Bank (BCEAO) and with the IMF and Merrill Lynch in the USA.
Ibrahim serves on the board of various companies and investment funds. He was selected in 2006 to be a member of the Presidential Investor Council of H.E. Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal.
Ibrahim is a graduate of Boston College (Master in Finance and Bachelor of Science in Finance, Information Systems and General Management) and was awarded sponsorship to Management Programs at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
