AfriCap's shareholders are comprised of both private and developmental
investors and the company is governed by a Board of Directors
, with a sub-committee being responsible for investment decisions.
Being structured as an investment company enables the provision of
liquidity for shareholders without the liquidation of the fund. AfriCap InvestmentsAfriCap
Investments is a Johannesburg based advisory company that is contracted
to manage the AfriCap Fund operations. AfriCap Investments employs a
team of 7 experienced African professionals. Technical Services FacilityTechnical Services Facility
is the AfriCap adjoined grant facility that provides funding for
technical assistance programs that build capacity in portfolio
