COMPANY
INSIGHTS SUSU Microfinance Bank Ltd offers a
broad range of financial services to the 90% Nigerians that are
presently un-banked and that largely form the emerging market at the
bottom of the economic pyramid. SUSU provides both credit and saving
products, developed and constantly revised to meet the needs and
demands its clients.
Defined by size, the bank will
serve micro, small and medium (MSME) enterprises, entrepreneurs,
employees and the self-employed.
SUSU is in its
third year of operation. Today, SUSU has a better understanding of the
microfinance market and continues to reflect this in the methodologies
adopted to drive the business. Microfinance is a fast evolving sector
in Nigeria. With a population of over 150 million, and growing, and
with only approximately 10% of Nigerians banked—microfinance has to be
the banking solution of the future for Nigeria. SUSU is poised to take
on the challenges ahead.
SUSU has identified three
main pillars of its operation: Technology, Manpower and Operational
efficiencies. As a microfinance bank that has positioned itself for
leadership, resources are focused to drive the business, based on these
pillars.
