FUND PERFORMANCE  AfriCap has invested in 20 different microfinance institutions across the Africat. Its first fund, AfriCap Microfinance Fund, produced an outstanding IRR of 15% to investors. As well, AfriCap generated an outstanding social impact, as at the time of its divestment, the Fund served about 370,000 borrowers and 2 million savers through its portfolio companies.
